Civil Aviation Administration of China: Power banks without 3C certification or recalled models banned on domestic flights
To ensure the safety of aviation operations, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued an urgent notice. Starting June 28, passengers are prohibited from carrying power banks that lack a 3C certification label, have unclear 3C labeling, or belong to recalled models or batches on domestic flights. Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport will enforce the requirements of this notice to ensure passenger safety. We kindly ask all passengers to comply with this notice by carefully checking the certification label, brand, and model of your power banks before traveling. Please do not bring non-compliant power banks on board. Remove your power bank before security checks to prevent travel delays.

Shanghai Airport Logistics Co Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanghai Airport Authority (AVINEX), made its debut at air cargo Shanghai 2026, held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center from June 24 to 26, alongside more than 800 aviation and logistics companies.

The expo, a flagship event under the Asia Logistics Biennial Exhibition brand, gathered airlines, airports, manufacturers, and service providers, showcasing the entire air cargo ecosystem from services to equipment and green digital transformation across Asia.
Lyu Yaodong, vice-president of AVINEX, said the scale, efficiency, and service quality of the air cargo sector have improved significantly. He added that Shanghai Airport Logistics is building an open, collaborative ecosystem while accelerating its transformation into a global supply chain hub.
The exhibition highlighted smart customs inspection systems, intelligent cargo terminals, off-airport cargo stations, trusted dangerous goods handling, and facilitation services for sensitive cargo, reflecting AVINEX's digital and smart logistics development strategy framework application layer.
During the expo, AVINEX met with Etihad Airways, Lufthansa Cargo, ANA Cargo, CMA CGM Air Cargo, Turkish Cargo, WorldACD Market Data B.V., and Xinjiang Airport Tianyi Logistics Co Ltd to discuss cooperation and boost global air cargo connectivity.

The company said it will strengthen international cooperation, accelerate its development into a world-class air cargo hub, and contribute to more resilient global supply chains, China's high-level opening-up, trade facilitation, and regional integration.
