Civil Aviation Administration of China: Power banks without 3C certification or recalled models banned on domestic flights

To ensure the safety of aviation operations, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued an urgent notice. Starting June 28, passengers are prohibited from carrying power banks that lack a 3C certification label, have unclear 3C labeling, or belong to recalled models or batches on domestic flights. Shanghai Pudong International Airport further strengthened its hub connectivity on June 4, as Rossiya Airlines' FV6649 successfully landed, inaugurating the city's first regular direct flights to Krasnoyarsk. The route aims to facilitate personnel exchanges, trade, and cultural cooperation between China and Russia.

Operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft, the new service runs twice weekly. Departures from Shanghai are scheduled at 2 am on Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Krasnoyarsk at 6:40 am local time. Return flights depart Krasnoyarsk at 7 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays, reaching Shanghai at 1 am the next day.

Krasnoyarsk, the capital of Russia's Krasnoyarsk Krai, is a key intercontinental transport hub connecting central Siberia with global networks. The city boasts attractions such as the Stolby Nature Reserve and the Krasnoyarsk Hydroelectric Power Station, as well as a vibrant cultural scene featuring its own orchestra, ballet, and opera companies.

Meanwhile, Shanghai's air corridor to North America saw further enhancements. Air Canada's AC28 took off at 19:17, marking the relaunch of Shanghai-Toronto flights with four weekly services. The direct connection is expected to save travelers significant transit time, improve convenience, and strengthen Sino-Canadian travel and trade ties.
