To ensure the safety of aviation operations, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued an urgent notice. Starting June 28, passengers are prohibited from carrying power banks that lack a 3C certification label, have unclear 3C labeling, or belong to recalled models or batches on domestic flights. (For details, please visit the official website of the State Administration for Market Regulation's Defective Product Recall Technical Center at www.samrdprc.org.cn/xfpzh/xfpgnzh)
Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport will enforce the requirements of this notice to ensure passenger safety. We kindly ask all passengers to comply with this notice by carefully checking the certification label, brand, and model of your power banks before traveling. Please do not bring non-compliant power banks on board. Remove your power bank before security checks to prevent travel delays.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport and the Changning District People's Court of Shanghai held an event on regular legal services at the airport's Hongqiao Yuan Grand Hall terminals on Dec 5.
This initiative inaugurates a model to integrate regular legal services into terminals, providing legal education and assistance to both passengers and staff and strengthening the legal environment at the Hongqiao International Opening-up Hub.
Key figures present included Wu Jinshui, Party secretary and president of the Shanghai No 1 Intermediate People's Court and senior judge of the first rank; Chen Xueqiang, deputy Party secretary and union chair of Shanghai Airport Authority. Representatives from local government, law-enforcement, airlines and travel platforms also attended.
During the meeting, both sides signed a cooperation framework agreement for regular legal services at terminals, the establishment of mobile legal service windows, sustained public legal education, and mechanisms to share information and provide targeted legal support for travelers.
Hongqiao Airport and Changning court launched an educational video that uses real-life case studies to guide travelers on air travel-related legal issues such as flight changes, baggage restrictions, and visa requirements. The goal is to ensure that travel is both convenient and legally informed.
