Civil Aviation Administration of China: Power banks without 3C certification or recalled models banned on domestic flights
To ensure the safety of aviation operations, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued an urgent notice. Starting June 28, passengers are prohibited from carrying power banks that lack a 3C certification label, have unclear 3C labeling, or belong to recalled models or batches on domestic flights. Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport will enforce the requirements of this notice to ensure passenger safety. We kindly ask all passengers to comply with this notice by carefully checking the certification label, brand, and model of your power banks before traveling. Please do not bring non-compliant power banks on board. Remove your power bank before security checks to prevent travel delays.

On Nov 5, the opening day of the 8th China International Import Expo, Shanghai Airport Authority Logistics Development Co, a subsidiary of Shanghai Airport Authority (AVINEX), signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with Italy's MSC Air Cargo.
The signing ceremony was attended by Feng Xin, chairman of AVINEX; Lyu Yaodong, vice president; Soren Toft, CEO of MSC Group; Jannie Davel, CEO of MSC Air Cargo; along with representatives from both organizations.
Feng and Toft witnessed the signing of the memorandum by Lyu and Davel on behalf of their companies. According to the agreement, MSC Air Cargo aims to make Shanghai its core hub in the Asia-Pacific, managing intercontinental cargo routes connecting China, Europe, and North America.
The partnership seeks to create a more effective international air logistics network and promote Shanghai's growth as a global aviation and shipping hub, further strengthening China's efforts for high-level opening-up.
Feng said that AVINEX is accelerating its efforts to create a premier, multi-purpose international aviation hub and to bolster its status as a vital part of global supply chains. Supported by MSC Air Cargo, the airport's logistics services will be improved, giving fresh impetus to global logistics and trade networks.
