Civil Aviation Administration of China: Power banks without 3C certification or recalled models banned on domestic flights
To ensure the safety of aviation operations, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued an urgent notice. Starting June 28, passengers are prohibited from carrying power banks that lack a 3C certification label, have unclear 3C labeling, or belong to recalled models or batches on domestic flights. (For details, please visit the official website of the State Administration for Market Regulation's Defective Product Recall Technical Center at www.samrdprc.org.cn/xfpzh/xfpgnzh)
Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport will enforce the requirements of this notice to ensure passenger safety. We kindly ask all passengers to comply with this notice by carefully checking the certification label, brand, and model of your power banks before traveling. Please do not bring non-compliant power banks on board. Remove your power bank before security checks to prevent travel delays.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Located at No 1600 West Nanjing Road, this center integrates city-terminal functions, shopping, offices and talent exchanges. Its refurbished facade harmonizes with the nearby business district, creating an efficient, eco-friendly transportation complex and a friendly urban gathering spot for travelers, residents, and merchants.
The fifth floor contains an aviation service hall that offers quick check-in, direct baggage delivery to Shanghai Pudong and Hongqiao airports, and concierge ground services, ensuring smooth business travel. Floors one to four have retail spaces developed by AVINEX and Shanghai Join Buy Group, featuring top e-commerce brands. Floors five to thirteen provide premium office spaces that have already attracted several airlines.

The project commenced in May 2020, following a strategic agreement between the Jing'an District People's Government and AVINEX to renovate the nearly 20-year-old terminal. With enhanced facilities and services, Wanhang International Center is poised to deepen aviation-commerce integration and strengthen Shanghai's position as a global hub.
