The "easy security check" service at Shanghai airports has been upgraded as of Jan 22, according to Shanghai Airport (Group) Company.
Passengers flying domestic flights who meet the qualifications for the service can go through the "easy security check" channels at airports without a reservation.
To access the service, passengers need to register and complete certification on the Alipay mini program "Civil Aviation Public Security Service" (民航公安服务) to obtain the "easy security check" qualification.
Passengers can then proceed through the exclusive security check channels by presenting either a paper or electronic boarding pass or their ID card.
The WeChat mini-program "Shanghai Airport" (上海机场) now offers reminder notifications for "easy security check" users.
They will receive a reminder SMS before their flight departure and can access information on the locations of "easy security check" channels within the mini-program. Registration and qualification inquiry functions for the service will be added soon.
