Civil Aviation Administration of China: Power banks without 3C certification or recalled models banned on domestic flights
To ensure the safety of aviation operations, the Civil Aviation Administration of China has issued an urgent notice. Starting June 28, passengers are prohibited from carrying power banks that lack a 3C certification label, have unclear 3C labeling, or belong to recalled models or batches on domestic flights. (For details, please visit the official website of the State Administration for Market Regulation's Defective Product Recall Technical Center at www.samrdprc.org.cn/xfpzh/xfpgnzh)
Pudong Airport and Hongqiao Airport will enforce the requirements of this notice to ensure passenger safety. We kindly ask all passengers to comply with this notice by carefully checking the certification label, brand, and model of your power banks before traveling. Please do not bring non-compliant power banks on board. Remove your power bank before security checks to prevent travel delays.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

The Shanghai Airport Authority (AVINEX)'s off-site city terminal management system and Shanghai airports-Suzhou front-end cargo station were recognized as model cases for integrated transport recently.
That was at the Second China Conference on Integrated Transport Development, held in Beijing on Sept 20-21 by the China Communications and Transportation Association.

The off-site city terminal system highlights the AVINEX Suzhou City Terminal, developed with Suzhou Industrial Park.
Branded smart air-ground intermodal transport, it partners with customs to enable Yangtze River Delta passenger digital supervision and China Eastern Airlines to launch the Suzhou SZO (an IATA 3-letter code) to the world, saving travelers over 30 minutes per trip.
The system's management model and innovative services can be replicated in other air-land and air-rail intermodal forms, strengthening Shanghai's role as an aviation hub.
It also eases late-night return journeys from Shanghai to Suzhou City in Jiangsu province, offering convenient and efficient connections for surrounding cities.

The Shanghai airports-Suzhou front-end cargo station is the country's first cross-provincial and cross-customs-district airport front cargo terminal. Jointly built by AVINEX, China Eastern Airlines, Suzhou Industrial Park and Suzhou Port & Shipping, it provides pre-security checks and pre-customs inspections.
Moreover, it’s said to cut logistics times by 12-24 hours and reduce ground transport costs by 10-30 percent, boosting the Yangtze River Delta supply chain and supporting Shanghai's development as an international aviation gateway.
