Effective from 00:00 on May 8, 2025, counters F01-F18 located at Check-in Island F in Terminal 2 will undergo renovation and be temporarily closed for service.
During this period:
• First and business class passengers, along with Platinum, Gold, and Silver Card members of China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines, are advised to proceed to Check-in Island C.
• Passengers traveling to Chongqing, Xi'an, or Kunming with China Eastern Airlines and Shanghai Airlines should use counters A01-A07.
• Passengers of Hainan Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Lucky Air, and Tibet Airlines should use counters E14-E18.
Please be aware that the specific counter assignments are subject to possible on-site adjustments by the respective airlines. The reopening schedule will be communicated separately. Thank you for your cooperation!
The long-term parking garage (P4) at Pudong International Airport was officially put into service on Dec 31, 2019. It is now the largest parking garage in Shanghai.

Located 1.5 kilometers north of Pudong's two terminals, P4 is composed of A, B, C and D buildings, with each building having seven floors, and a total of 5,354 parking spaces, including 112 barrier-free spaces. At present, buildings C and D have been available first and can hold 2,732 cars.
With the opening of P4, passengers will have more parking choices. For passengers who park for a short time, parking at P1 and P2 will be convenient, and for those who need to park for a long time, long-term parking at P4 is cheaper, according to Pudong's latest fee rates.
The fee at the more distant P4 is five yuan (70 cents) per hour and the maximum chargeable fee for every 24 hours is 60 yuan, while the first 20 minutes on the first day is free. Parking at the closer P1 and P2 is 10 yuan per hour for the first two hours, and five yuan per hour after that. The maximum chargeable fee for every 24 hours is 130 yuan.

To help passengers to travel between the terminals and the P4 long-term parking garage, Pudong airport provides a free 24-hour shuttle bus service to maintain the frequency of departures every five minutes during the peak flight period. The bus stations are near T1's Gate 8 and T2's Gate 27.
The P4 garage has a smart parking management system, which can realize services such as automatic license recognition, unconscious payment, and a parking space search mechanism. A manual toll counter has been set up. All parking spaces in Building D are equipped with charging piles.
The new parking garage will improve the parking experience of passengers at Pudong airport by easing its parking space shortage and better serve the upcoming Spring Festival travel rush.
